Conference Time!

11/4/2022

For the first time in 15 years there will be an SCI Region 2 Conference, and I cannot thank Natalie Draper and Neil Flory enough for their work in making it all happen.

Looking forward to spending some quality time with a plethora of contemporary music and musicians during the first week of November at Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music!

November 4–6, 2022
Syracuse, NY

The conference will feature several calls for scores, as well as panel discussions. Society of Composers, Inc. is partnering with Central New York’s Society for New Music and Symphor!a for this multi-day event. Guest artist, Nilo Alcala, will be the featured composer of the choral concert and will give a pre-concert talk.

Shout-out to Nicholas Phillips for his beautiful interpretation of Substratum, written for his #45miniatures
project in December of 2018.
