A new set of planets!2/6/2024 I'm thrilled to hear that Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) has been awarded a $20,000 NEA grant to support a commissioning and performance project featuring a new set of symphonic movements, based upon celestial bodies in our solar system, created by members of the ADJ•ective New Music Composers' Collective (#ADJCC), including Cynthia Van Maanen, Hong-Da Chin, Andrea Reinkemeyer, Anne Neikirk, Alex Temple, Daijana Wallace, Robert McClure, Jamie Leigh Sampson, and me!  SCI Region V11/5/2023 I had a wonderful time at this year's Region V Conference for the Society of Composers, Inc. Shoutout to Rob McClure and all his students at Ohio University School of Music for hosting such a stellar series of lectures and performances. Seven concerts, two lectures, and an installation over a period of three days featuring music created by more than 70 guest composers, guest performers, faculty, and students.
